Contender or Pretender?

I have been told by local rangers and cyclists that if I can bike the “grizzly” roads of the Lost Coast, I can bike anywhere.

The last couple of days have been splendid in Arcata. My left Achille’s heel is recovering from the Seven Devils and got needed time off. Although it remains slightly swollen, I need to move on and take advantage of the perfect weather. I will keep a close eye on it though.

Time to discover the Lost Coast. Time to put my cycling and adventure skills to the test. I will update the blog as soon as possible, but the GPS tracker will let you know our location.

Thank you to the community of Arcata for showing Chiva and me a grand time. I look forward to revisiting soon. A special thanks to Lila Owen and Cole Shatto for housing me.

Until next post,
David and Chiva

Where's this GPS tracker on your page?

It was great having you. Wish I could join for a ride or Lost Coast adventure. The man's weighen me down, but you've kicked up my inspiration and excitement for the summer.
