UPDATE, 22 October 2008

David and Chiva are taking a break from the Tour de Dog but are sure to plan another ride in the near future. A sincere thank you to all of you who helped David and Chiva in countless ways. The Tour de Dog would not be possible without your support. THANK YOU!

Tour de Dog Photo of the Day

The Tour de Dog continues to battle dust, drought and headwind with gusts well over 50mph and struggled to cover 15 miles yesterday. The California Department of Transportation uses this electronic sign in downtown Bishop, CA, to notify highway users of current desert conditions. Do you think the Canine Cyclists, David and Chiva, are considered hi-load campers?

David,

Congrats on your trip and don't let those nasty 100mph winds slow you down! My summit was a success and I have a few pics posted on this blog: http://multiusetc.blogspot.com/
I have a few of you from the portal so if you go to the website found on the blog then you can email me and I will email them to you.

Good Luck,

Dave Everett
